Fat Joe ft. Wiz Khalifa & Teyana Taylor – "Ballin’" [VIDEO] – Hip
Fat Joe returns with the full visual for his single “Ballin’,” after providing a behind the scenes look via Instagram weeks ago. The Bronx rapper kicks slick rhymes about the fruits of his labor, backed by a verse of affluent bars from Wiz Khalifa and a catchy chorus from Teyana Taylor.
Joey Crack keeps it luxurious while sporting a jacket similar to one that resulted in slander for the Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade. Nevertheless, a tastefully worn tuxedo and other fashionable accoutrements give the seasoned spitter a clean look throughout the vid.
Scenes smoothly transition from performance shots of the three rappers, in which Taylor provides her best Lil’ Kim impersonation, to beautiful displays of a Los Angeles mansion. Credit that to director Eif Rivera, who did an impressive job with the lighting and editing in the treatment.
“Ballin’” will appear on the Terror Squad leader’s forthcoming album The Darkside Vol. 3, due out sooner than later. See Fat Joe and co. kick rhymes in style below.

Chi Ali And Fat Joe Drop ‘Games & Things’ Video

One time for Chi Ali. Now that the 1990s Bronx rapper is fully adjusted after coming home from a 12 year prison bid last August, Chi links up with Fat Joe for his new single “Games Things.”
In October, Chi visited “RapFix Live” and spoke to show host Sway Calloway about his incarceration and return to rap. In a heartfelt moment he brought his teenage daughter Sky onto the set and vowed to always be there for her. “I missed a large part of her life and a lot of children may resent their parents for that,” he said of Sky, who claims to know the words to all of her dad’s songs. “I feel, at times, there were things that I probably missed that she felt a way about, but I want you to know that wasn’t under my control.
“I think you know if I could’ve been there, I would’ve been there, but I’m here now,” he told her. “So we don’t have to look at the past, we’re gonna build for the future.”
In January 2000, eight years after he released his debut album, The Fabulous Chi-Ali, the MC shot and killed a man in the Bronx, New York. Ali went on the run for 15 months, appeared on “America’s Most Wanted,” and then was eventually apprehended and served 12 years out of a 14-year prison sentence after taking a plea deal. Even though he is thrilled to be home, the rapper does understand the damage he caused. “It feels surreal to be home. I’m truly blessed,” he said. “You know, I committed a crime that I wish I could go back in time and undo. However, I can’t, and you have to live with your mistakes and learn.”

Chi Ali & Fat Joe – "Games & Things" [VIDEO] – Hip
The Fabulous Chi-Ali, that’s who he was billed as a teen rapper, was released from prison last year after a 12-year bed and promptly restarted his rap career. One of his biggest supporters has been Fat Joe, and the Bronx rappers drop a video for their collaborative cut “Games Things.”
The song’s smooth and melodic production is credited to Statik Selektah. Dark city streets, basketballs courts in the park and, of course, the studio, are some of the backdrops seen throughout the video as Chi-Ali and Joe kick their rhymes. Stick around for a cameo from some guy named DJ Premier, too.
Unfortunately for Fat Joe, he may be heading to prison. Joe Crack plead guilty to tax evasion last year and is facing up to two years behind bars when he is sentenced sometime this year. This puts the release date of the “Lean Back” rapper’s next project, The Darkside 3, further in limbo.

Joe Crack goes in over the spooky, Hype produced instrumental. “F-ck all you critics that doubt, always talking about me/I got the f-ck out New York, took my talents to South Beach/It doesn’t make me less realer, I’m surrounded by killers,” spits the rapper whose name no longer matches his much slimmer physique.
When The Darkside 3 finally hits stores, and online retailers, depends on how much time Fat Joe gets for ducking his taxes. In late 2012, he plead guilty in New Jersey to tax evasion for allegedly failing to pay $700,0o0 in income taxes on earnings he made in 2007 and 2008. The “Lean Back” rapper’s net worth has been reported at $35 million.
At the time of his plea, Joe was released on $250,000 bond. He will be sentenced in April and faces up to two years in prison. Considering Beanie Sigel is cooling his heels in the bing for the same issue, it may get very real for the Don Cartagena come this Spring.

Fat Joe owes major bucks to the IRS
The rapper owes $718,038 – and could face up to two years in prison.

These are lean times for Fat Joe.
The Miami-based rapper, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena, pled guilty on Thursday to failing to pay taxes on $3 million in income earned between 2007 – 2008. Fat Joe entered the plea in federal court in Newark, the AP reports via Huffington Post, because some of the companies he earned money from are incorporated in New Jersey.
Federal prosecutors calculated the rapper owes $718,038. Fat Joe – leaner, and more vocal about his health in recent years – told the court “I super-understand” the charges.
His lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, said he hoped to pay back the taxes by the time of his sentencing April 3. The AP reports that Fat Joe was released on $250,000 bail and could face up to two years in prison and a fine of up to $200,000, plus penalties from the IRS.
A hot album could help out with those fees. MTV.com reports the rapper, who last released a solo album, The Darkside Vol. 1, in 2010, has been working on his 11th album, and collaborating with artists including Chris Brown and Kanye West. He has been active on Twitter throughout December, tweeting pictures of himself working in the studio. After the Newtown, Conn. tragedy, Fat Joe, who has a six-year-old daughter, tweeted that the tragedy “really hits home.”
