Christina Aguilera Is Fat And Doesn’t Care, So You Should Just Get Over It
Christina Aguilera has gotten straight up fat—not curvy, thick, or big boned, but more so a “I brush my teeth with gravy” kinda fat– and the best part about is that she cares about as much as the Kardashians care about their privacy, which is about -200 percent.
And why should she? She’s already a name for herself and it’s been her voice, not her body, which has been, and will continue to be, her moneymaker. Sure, she had to rub us the right way in her younger days, but the little girl with the big voice vs. the big girl with the big voice currently trades for the same market value—see: Adele. Big girls are rocking it without excuse or comment, and it’s about damn time.
No, you won’t see Aguilera trying to sign a deal to be the face of Weight Watchers a la Jessica Simpson. You won’t see her getting self-righteous and stuffing herself in an old pair of assless chaps from her dirrrty days on a daytime TV show and telling the nation to kiss her fat ass. She’s not looking for pity or support, she’s not trying to connect with or empower the “average” female; Aguilera is still every bit the fabulous diva she’s always been, there’s just more diva to go around now.
The only people concerned with her weight gain is the public, her seamstress (maybe more the seams themselves), and probably her doctor. I’ll go ahead and prepare a response for each on behalf of Xtina since she’s too busy counting her money she’s pulling in regardless of what the scale says:
To whom it may concern:
Enclosed in this empty envelope is all the fucks I give.
XOXO,
Xtina
Sure, she might look like she ate her former self whole, something which might have set off an allergic reaction and caused her face to inflate like a hot air balloon, but girlfriend ain’t gotta sweat a thaaaaang in her personal or professional life.

Regarding her personal life: A. Men love booty. B. Even if it’s too much booty, there’s always the chubby chasers. C. She’s got enough money and fame that she’s reached that rare status for a female where she gets whichever aspiring model/actor/dancer she wants anyway.
Look at Madonna. She looks like she’s about 30 years past dead and she can pull 20-something hot ass. Gold diggers, male or female, don’t see age or weight, they see dollar signs. Plus, they probably keep in mind that Aguilera might come down with the flu and lose some weight, whereas they know you can’t bring back a milk past its expiration date. I hope she backs that ass up into some man stealing adventures to make some starving starlets hate their life that much more. Work it if you got it, sista.
As for her professional life, as I’d mentioned before, her pipes pay the bills. She can lean up, blow up, paint her skin blue and rock out as a smurf but none of it will have the affect on her career that everyone seems to think.

Now, say, if Megan Fox will let herself go like Aguilera, she’ll be as forgettable as her personality. The only thing that girl really has is a hot body (or had? Who knows what the baby did to her).
Without talent or any amount of likability, appearance is a top concern. But for Aguilera, this is almost a power move. She’s giving the middle finger to the whole entertainment industry by staying relevant even as she breaks all the societal norms for females in her position. She’s not doing it to prove a point, she’s not apologizing for it, and fuck empowering the masses– she wants cheese sauce on her wings because that’s what she wants, and diva gets what diva wants.
Christina Aguilera is quite literally having her cake and eating it too. If you’re inspired or disgusted, she couldn’t care less, because it’s red velvet with cream cheese icing and she’ll be damned if she let’s you wreck it for her.

Who faked Christina Aguilera’s ‘fat girl’ quotes?
Quotes from Christina Aguilera admitting she was a “fat girl” were made up, the singer’s reps say.

Chart-topping singer Christina Aguilera stars in the current issue of Billboard magazine to promote her new album, Lotus.
But what the pop star doesn’t do in the accompanying interview, despite several reports to the contrary, is comment on her weight and body image.
“The quotes are 100 per cent false,” Aguilera’s rep told Access Hollywood. “She never said them to Billboard and Billboard never printed or posted them. They are fake.”
Several outlets picked up on quotes purportedly made by Aguilera in the mag’s interview, which included The Voice star allegedly accusing record label bosses of putting pressure on her to lose weight during 2002 promotion for her album Stripped.
A selection of fabricated quotes initially appeared in an article on Us Weekly‘s site.
Aguilera was quoted as saying: “During the promotion of my album Stripped, I got tired of being a skinny, white girl.
“I am Ecuadorian but people felt so safe passing me off as a skinny, blue-eyed white girl.
“The next time my label saw me, I was heavier, darker and full of piercings! Let me tell you, that wasn’t an easy pill for them to swallow. I had gained about 15 pounds during promotion and during my Stripped tour [with Justin Timberlake].”
The 31-year-old singer was also quoted as saying execs had told her that the people she toured with would also miss out if she gained weight because she “would sell no records or tickets for my shows”.
“They called this serious emergency meeting about how there was a lot of backlash about my weight,” the fabricated quote continued. “Basically, they told me I would affect a lot of people if I gained weight – the production, musical directors.
“[They claimed] people I toured with would also miss out if I gained weight because I would sell no records or tickets for my shows. I was young, so I lost the weight quickly and was toothpick thin during Back to Basics promos and touring.”
However, according to the alleged quotes, Aguilera, for her upcoming new album, put her foot down and hit back at music execs.
“I told them during this Lotus recording, ‘You are working with a fat girl. Know it now and get over it. They need a reminder sometimes that I don’t belong to them.
“It’s my body. My body can’t put anyone in jeopardy of not making money anymore – my body is just not on the table that way anymore.”
But here’s the rub on the quotes: “She never said them,” the singer’s rep echoed to Entertainment Weekly.
The quotes in question do not appear in either the online story or the magazine, according to EW.
The website claims it traced the fabricated comments back to a reblogged Tumblr post.
While her body image quotes are total tosh, Aguilera did in fact dish some details about her new album in the Billboard interview.
“This album represents a celebration of the new me,” she told the mag, “and to me the Lotus has always represented this unbreakable flower that withstands any harsh weather conditions in its surroundings, that withstands time and remains beautiful and strong throughout the years.”
Aguilera recently released the music video for Your Body, the first single off her new album, which drops in November.

Christina Aguilera’s Rep Denies Fat Comments
Those comments Christina Aguilera allegedly made along the lines of being pudgy and proud? Turns out they’re false.
On the current issue of Billboard magazine, “The Voice” coach and cover girl talks about her upcoming album, Lotus, but contrary to many reports, the Grammy Award-winning singer did not talk about her weight.
“She never said them,” says Aguilera’s rep to Entertainment Weekly, referring to the following quote that was initially attributed to Billboard:
“I am Ecuadorian, but people felt so safe passing me off as a skinny, blue-eyed white girl. They (music executives) called this serious emergency meeting about how there was a lot of backlash about my weight. Basically, they told me I would affect a lot of people if I gained weight -the production, musical directors. I told them…‘You are working with a fat girl. Know it now and get over it. My body can’t put anyone in jeopardy of not making money anymore -my body is just not on the table that way anymore. They need a reminder sometimes that I don’t belong to them. It’s my body.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, the quote was not found in either Billboard’s print or online issue. Sources are allegedly claiming that the quote may have come from a reblogged post on Tumblr.
In reference to her weight, Aguilera did tell Lucky Magazine “Actually, the challenge I’ve always had is being too thin, so I love that now I have a booty, and obviously I love showing my cleavage.”
Also in current issueof Lucky, she tells her fans, “Hey, if you can work it and you can own it, that confidence is going to shine through.”

Christina Aguilera on her curvy, controversial figure: I’m a ‘fat girl …
Christina Aguilera‘s ever-changing figure has been tabloid fodder for years, but the difference this time around is that the singer just doesn’t care what her critics might say.
“The Voice” judge, who is set to release her new album “Lotus” in November, opened up to the Sept. 29 issue of Billboard magazine to set the record straight once and for all on her curves.
“I told (my label) during this ‘Lotus’ recording, ‘You are working with a fat girl. Know it now and get over it,’” the “Your Body” singer told the magazine. “They need a reminder sometimes that I don’t belong to them. It’s my body.
“My body can’t put anyone in jeopardy of not making money anymore – my body is just not on the table that way anymore.”
The singer’s bold statement comes after years of being scrutinized in the public eye and, she tells Billboard, being told to lose weight or risk her career.

Though she is often seen as a blond-haired, blue-eyed white singer, Christina Aguilera is actually Ecuadorian.
“During the promotion of my album ‘Stripped (in 2002), I got tired of being a skinny, white girl,” she said. “I am Ecuadorian but people felt so safe passing me off as a skinny, blue-eyed white girl.
“The next time my label saw me, I was heavier, darker and full of piercings! Let me tell you, that wasn’t an easy pill for them to swallow.”
Aguilera, 31, admitted she’d gained about 15 pounds during the “Stripped” tour, and her label was not happy.
“They called this serious emergency meeting about how there was a lot of backlash about my weight,” she recalled. “Basically, they told me I would affect a lot of people if I gained weight – the production, musical directors.”

Christina Aguilera lost a drastic amount of weight after her label insisted she was jeopardizing her career.
The then-21-year-old singer, not wanting to jeopardize her burgeoning career, said she quickly shed the pounds to be “toothpick thin” and struggled with public scrutiny of her figure for years afterward.
And indeed, as recently as last fall, the talented singer was making more headlines for her weight gain than her musical prowess.
Unflattering photos of Aguilera at a Michael Jackson tribute concert prompted Kelly Osbourne to make a few rather disparaging remarks about her figure.
“Maybe she is just becoming the fat b—h she was born to be,” Osbourne said of Aguilera during a segment on E!’s Fashion Police. “I don’t know. She was a c–t to me. …(She) called me fat for so many f—king years. So you know what? F–k you. You’re fat too.”

Lou Dematteis/REUTERS
In 2000, Christina Aguilera was still new in the industry and feeling her way toward diva status.
One year later, however, Aguilera is looking to move on from the sniping comments.
“This album represents a celebration of the new me,” she said, “and to me the lotus has always represented this unbreakable flower that withstands any harsh weather conditions in its surroundings, that withstands time and remains beautiful and strong throughout the years.”

Christina Aguilera Admits She Got Fat and Put On Fake Tanner to Feel More Latina

When revolutionaries want to make a statement, they’ve sometimes turned to hunger strikes to make their point. When Christina Aguilera wanted to prove to her record label and the world that she wasn’t just some “skinny white girl,” she slathered herself in fake tanner and stocked up on chalupas, tacos and whatever else was on the late night menu at Taco Bell in a bid to reclaim her Latina heritage.
Or at least that’s the story she told Billboard magazine.

In her cover story with the music magazine, Christina recounts how her “ethnic” transformation didn’t go over so well with her record label.
During the promotion of my album Stripped, I got tired of being a skinny, white girl. I am Ecuadorian but people felt so safe passing me off as a skinny, blue-eyed white girl. So the next time my label saw me… I was heavier, darker and full of piercings! [laughter] Let me tell you, that wasn’t an easy pill for them to swallow. I had gained about 15 pounds during promotion and during my Stripped tour with Justin.
They called this serious emergency meeting about how there was a lot of backlash about my weight… basically they told me I would affect a lot of people if I gained weight. The production, musical directors… people I toured with would ALSO miss out if I gained weight because I would sell no records or tickets for my shows.
I was young, so I lost the weight quickly and was toothpick thin during Back to Basics promos and touring. So I told them during this Lotus recording… ‘you are working with a fat girl… know it now and get over it’ They need a reminder sometimes that I don’t BELONG to them… it’s my body. My body can’t put anyone in jeopardy of not making money anymore- My body is just not on the table that way anymore. I am 31 my boobs are Max’s and my pussy is mine… Sorry.
Just to give you a visual reminder of Christina’s tanner, bulkier look, here’s a shot of Xtina from her 2003 “Stripped” tour:

By touting her weight gain and fake tan as badges of her Latina honor, Christina is cementing her title as one of the most racially confused pop stars in history, second perhaps only to Mariah Carey.
Being fat and dark-skinned is not emblematic of the Latina experience. Latino, as has been explained ad nauseum, is not a race, it’s a culture.
There are Latinos of all hues and races (white, black, native American and even Asian), so her slathering on fake tanner in 2003 doesn’t make her more Ecudaorian. It makes her the prototype for Snooki.
Let’s pause for a minute about Christina reminding her record label that her pussy is her’s. If that’s really how she feels, then why the hell is she always shoving her vagina in the public’s face?
She even dedicated the song “Woo Hoo” to nothing but her vagina on her last album Bionic. Even worse, she went onstage at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards and put a light-up heart on her love muffin for a performance of the song.

Most people would love to do nothing more than MOVE ON from Christina’s vagina. She’s the one who insists on dragging the issue out.
So she can point the finger back at herself on that matter, not her record label. But let’s go back to the idea Christina raised of fatness and Latinahood being inherently intertwined.
Casually linking an overweight state as a natural byproduct of being Latino is not only insulting, it’s moronic. Especially considering the fact that she doesn’t even have to reach back to her father’s Ecuadorian roots to get in touch with her fat genes, since her white Irish-American mother, Shelly Kearns, is no wispy ballerina herself.

Christina’s latest attempt to distance herself from her whiteness is another desperate plea for a “hood pass.” She seems to think she’ll earn real street cred by dissing her whiteness and embracing her Latinaness. Even worse, it’s not the first time she has pulled this stunt.
Back in 2002, Christina blabbed to Rolling Stone that she wasn’t really into white boys and preferred ethnic men with “flava.” Ladies and gents, have your vomit bags handy for this doozy of a quote:
Christina Aguilera has made a confession sure to disappoint some of her male fans – she’d rather not date white guys. “I want the boys with the ‘flava!’ He’s got to have some flava and edge to him,” the pop tart tells the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone.
Christina – who appears topless on the cover of her new album “Stripped” – also blasts actress Jennifer Love Hewitt for her penchant for Caucasian men.
“She wants a bunch of white boys I don’t want . . . I would scare the s- – – out of her if she came to one of my sleepovers,” she says.
The funny thing is, after talking all that trash, Christina ended up marrying Jordan Bratman, a vanilla, safe, white Jewish man. So she’s nothing but big, fat fraud with a big, fat mouth.
Can we stage an intervention for this chick? Her identity crisis is worse than Nicki Minaj‘s multiple personas.

Christina Aguilera to Music Label: "You Are Working With a Fat Girl … Get …
But things are different now. Christina’s new album, Lotus, is coming out on November 13 and she told her label during this recording, “‘You are working with a fat girl. Know it now and get over it.’ They need a reminder sometimes that I don’t belong to them. It’s my body,” Christina told Billboard in her new cover story. “My body can’t put anyone in jeopardy of not making money anymore — my body is just not on the table that way anymore.”
Good for her! Although, maybe not great for her to even jokingly call herself fat. Anyway, Christina now joins Lady Gaga in the latest fight against anyone who points out a celeb’s weight gain in a negative way. Could the tide be turning in the industry, or does weight gain still hurt a star’s career?

Kelly Osbourne not flinching in fat fight
LOS ANGELES, April 14 (UPI) — Kelly Osbourne says she won’t be taking back her snarky comments about Christina Aguilera’s weight.
Osbourne told Glamour magazine Aguilera had “called me fat for years.”
“I said, ‘Now you’re fat, too. …Now you know how that feels,’” she revealed, adding, “I’m sorry but I stand by that.”
People said the fat fight apparently had its origins in Osbourne’s earlier body image. She dropped about 50 pounds in 2010.
Osbourne said the trauma of being an overweight kid still stung and she wasn’t going to let her mutual celebrity status with Aguilera prevent her from sticking up for herself.

Kelly Osbourne Would Call Christina Aguilera ‘Fat’ to Her Face

Don’t expect Christina Aguilera to get an apology from Kelly Osbourne.
The Fashion Police cohost, 27, infamously called The Voice mentor, 31, fat on TV, and she’s not retracting any time soon.
“She called me fat for years,” Osbourne, who dropped 50 pounds in 2010, tells Glamour magazine. “I said, ‘[expletive] you, now you’re fat, too! … Now you know how it feels!”
“I’m sorry,” she continues, “but I stand by that.”
And Osbourne would have no problem telling that to Aguilera directly.
“I make a point on the show never to say anything about anybody that I wouldn’t say directly to their face,” she says. “I’m famous and she’s famous. It doesn’t mean I can’t stand up for myself. I took it for 10 years, and finally decided to be like, ‘You know what? I’m done.’ ”
But that doesn’t mean Osbourne is less critical about herself.
“I didn’t say I wasn’t fat,” she explains. “You will always see in yourself what people used to bully you for. … Everyone called me Kelly Smelly with the Big Belly Whose Dad’s on the Telly. It hurt so badly to be judged like that. Even now, I don’t consider myself skinny.”
